  从烧成工艺方面看,它已具备了当今钧瓷烧制的工艺特征,分素烧强固胎体,釉烧呈光泽色彩的二次烧制工艺,这在钧官窑遗址中可找到证据。在施釉方面还表现在足底施满护胎釉,支钉烧成,这是五大历史名瓷共同的特征,是御用官瓷精细的标志之一。

  宋代钧瓷精美绝伦,除审美特征外,还有更多的理性特征,时隐时现。例如钧瓷的底款,除刻有“奉华”、“省符”等宫殿名字外,多以“一二三四……九十”编号,这是陶瓷作品中唯一的,特有的现象。数目底款为了搭配花盆与花托和为了区别器物大小规格。
  The beauty of Jun porcelains is unparalleled. Besides the aesthetic features, there are more rational factors, presented occasionally. For instance, the bottom inscription of Jun porcelain, additionally bears the serial number of “One, two, three, four……Ninety” besides the palace name like “Fenghua” and “Shengfu”, which is exclusive and unique. Such serial numbers are used to define the sizes of wares for the matching of flower pot and flower stand.
